THE LODGE AND ITS ROOMS

Stylish Accommodations: Eco Surflodge Azores in Ribeira Grande offers a sun terrace, yoga pavillon, surfskate area, garden, and year-round outdoor pool. Guests enjoy free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and private bathrooms with views of the garden or courtyard.

4 x 3-hour classes - Beginners to advanced intermediates - All materials provided

These four sessions will introduce you to or deepen your knowledge of oil painting. The goal is to provide you with the essential tools you need to continue exploring this medium.

  • Basic Techniques - Color Mixing and Manipulation

  • Color Blocking - Building with Colored Masses

  • Playing Light and Shadow - Creating Volume

  • Composition - Organizing Your Painting

  • Creating the Illusion of Detail - Suggesting Without Painting Everything

  • Freehand Painting x Portrait (for Advanced Levels) - Proportions and Character

  • Developing Your Artistic Eye

Who is this retreat for?

This retreat is open to all levels, whether in painting or surfing. it's for anyone who wants to grow creatively while enjoying the beauty and tranquility of island life.

What does a typical day look like?

Each day balances structured creative time, adventure, and rest. Here's a sample day:

  • Healthy breakfast

  • Painting class (3 hours)

  • Lunch: Outside during excursions or meal at the lodge

  • Afternoon: Guided tour of the island or surfing lesson

  • Evening: Shared dinner prepared by our private chef

  • Special moments : hotsprings, beach club, wine tasting

Some days include free time to balance your stay with your personal interests.
