Portrait in Oils
A 4 session intensive painting workshop by Célia Rakotondrainy, adequate for begginers and intermediate level painters.
You will learn traditional and contemporary portrait techniques, the contrasts between light and shadow, and expert color mixing all while using professional-grade oil painting materials, which are provided in this workshop. This workshop we will focus more on the details of portrait painting. We will dive into facial proportions, essential oil painting techniques and you'll complete your own portrait study.
All materials will be provided by the studio - you'll just need to bring some clothes you wouldn't mind staining (old T-shirt, apron,…), as this practice can get quite messy. Since oil paint takes time to dry, you will be able to pick up your finished works later - Célia will let you know when they are dry.
The workshop is divided into 4 sessions:
Mat 24th (saturday): 10:00 - 12:30
May 31st (saturday): 15:00 - 17:30
June 7th (saturday): 11:00 - 13:30
June 14th (saturday): 15:00 - 17:30
Total: 10h of intensive learning!
