Le Cercle de l’Art, designed and launched in 2021 by the artist Margaux Derhy is a new support model for the visual artist.
Le Cercle aims to create a priviledged relationship between artists and collectors, based on the acquisition of a work in 12 monthly instalments over one year.
The idea of the project is to live an experience beyond the acquisition of a work of art, to create a real bond throughout the year. The payment in 12 instalments inscribes the commitment of the collector in the long term and allows the artist to perpetuate their work by relying on a fixed income for a year.
This unique opportunity will take place in April 2023. The prices are divided into three categories starting from 50€ per month.
Becoming a collector member gives you access to various exclusive advantages and is a way for you to support an artist and their upcoming projects. Those are to be discovered in a soon to be released catalogue gathering a total of 20 works.

SAISON ZERO
October 2021 - October 2022
Found 14 collector members to support my forthcoming projects, therefore succeeded in joining officially Le Cercle de l’Art.
Thanks to their strong support I was able to realize one of my biggest dream : to do an art residency in the Azores to create an entire series. This temporary residency project evolved rather quickly and became a life project. I’m now based on São Miguel island.
Through the combined support of Chela Mitchell Gallery and Le Cercle de l’Art I could devote myself thoroughly on my art. Since then my work has taken on a more international dimension allowing me to release two art prints, an up-cycled denim jacket collection but most importantly to complete two painting series I’m very proud of : From one shore to another my name might not be the same and virtualités corporelles Chapter 2 from which you’ll be able to acquire some works during the second season of Le Cercle.
Season zero was a success in every aspects. It sure granted me the ability to produce my art with more ease but it also gave me access to the most kind-hearted community of artists working hard on building a safe space to develop various projects such as residencies, collaborations or workshops. All this energy has given me great motivation to go on this adventure again and this time, for season two, I’m honoured to be supported by Chela Mitchell Gallery.
